The Association of Municipalities Polish Network “Energie Cités” (PNEC) is a non-governmental organization which supports sustainable energy planning and implementation on the local level. Since 1994 PNEC promotes energy efficiency and use of renewable energy sources, implements projects supporting sustainable energy development of Polish municipalities and organizes conferences, seminars, workshops and study tours devoted to energy-related issues.

Deutsche Umwelthilfe e. V. (DE)
Deutsche Umwelthilfe e. V. (Environmental Action Germany) was founded in 1975 as a politically independent organisation promoting protection of the environment, nature and consumers at the national and European level. It advocates sustainable lifestyles and economic systems that respect environmental boundaries. The work carried out by Environmental Action Germany makes an important contribution to ensuring that current and future generations have every chance to lead a fulfilling life in an intact environment.The DUH department of municipal environmental protection supports cities and towns as well as municipal enterprises in climate protection and maintaining biodiversity by nationwide competitions, campaigns, consultancy and surveys. Our campaigning for environmental justice in municipalities fosters social and ecological thinking and acting on the local level.

Energiaklub (HU)
Energiaklub was established in 1990. By now it has become a leading “think and do” tank organization in the field of sustainable energy, being the only NGO in Hungary whose work is solely concentrated on energy issues. Among other activities, we conduct research projects, provide trainings, carry out communication campaigns and support journalists with information and insight. Energiaklub closely works with municipalities on various projects, like the preparation of SECAPs (Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan).
